Does Brain & Body Healthcare accept insurance?
Yes, Brain & Body works with Headway for billing, covering most Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Blue Cross Shield of Mass., Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Oscar (Optum), Oxford (Optum), Quest Behavioral Health, Select Health- Utah, and United Healthcare (Optum) plans.
Once you are booked, you will receive an email from Headway to confirm details and create your profile, the process can take 1-3 business days.
Do you offer out of network plans?
Yes, we offer out-of-network options which is considered private pay, self pay or cash pay.

Follow-Up- $150
How does the payment process work?
We accept payments through credit card via our secure payment portal (we accept HSA/FSA as well). You are required to have a credit card on file regardless of the method of payment. Payment is due by the time of service.
What is the initial process like?
During this session, we’ll review your health history, discuss any previous treatments, and begin crafting a treatment plan tailored to your goals. If you received psychiatric treatment elsewhere please have your records sent to Brain & Body Healthcare prior to your first visit with us.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
Yes, however our approach to controlled substances is conservative. While they may be prescribed, our decisions are always guided by what is best for the patient and in compliance with Arizona regulations.
How can I ask for a refill of my medications?
Within your patient portal please send me a message requesting the name and dose of your medication and what pharmacy you would like it to be sent to.
What if I need additional support?
You can expect comprehensive, individualized care from your provider, however it is often recommended to establish with an individualized therapist to provide additional support for the most positive outcomes.
What services are not provided?
We are unable to provide letters in support of surgery, child support/child custody/parental rights, disability determinations, or forensic determinations (competency evaluations). We do not offer MAT treatment, addiction treatment such as Suboxone or Methadone services. We also do not provide crisis services.
What if I am running late?
Please contact us as soon as possible to update us. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule and be charged a no show fee.

What if Brain & Body doesn’t answer the phone?
We are a small company and most likely we are seeing/talking with patients. Please leave a brief voice mail with your name, call back number and and the reason you’re calling.
What should I do if I need urgent mental health support?
This provider does not provide emergency services. If you find yourself or a family member in a
life-threatening situation, call 911, go to an emergency room (at your cost), or utilize another
